Kristin obtained her nurse practitioner degree from Sacred Heart University in 2011. She was the recipient of the Gold Medal of Excellence from Sacred Hear University, which acknowledges those students who achieve academic excellence. She is board-certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners in family practice.
Kristin is proud of her 18-year experience as an RN, and credits her strong nursing background as the reason for her success as an APRN. Most recently, Kristin worked at the William W. Backus Hospital in their Backus Health Center in Montville. There, she worked as a primary care provider, as well as in their busy urgent care center.
Kristin’s main objective is to provide quality primary care to patients ages 14 and up in a welcoming, soothing environment. As a nurse practitioner, the main focus is on health promotion, disease prevention as well as management of many diseases including diabetes, elevated blood pressure, obesity, and high cholesterol. Kristin’s practice will also offer physical examinations, sick visits, DOT physicals, routine gynecologic screenings, immunizations, and referrals to specialty practices when indicated.

Catherine Flete, MA
Catherine has been a certified medical assistant for more than two years. Catherine takes pride in her experience in primary care. She is skilled in medical reception, phlebotomy (drawing blood), setting up referral appointments, preauthorization of procedures when needed, and assisting patients to their exam rooms/preparing patients for their exams. Catherine is also fluent in Spanish.
